Vintage RARE Bakelite Billiard Cue Balls, Antique 3cm Pool Catalin Gaming Balls

More great items of interest from the late Thornton Bogert's collection (1890-1970), Thornton dabbled in so many cool activities; he was a US patent attorney, built model train sets and pond boats, so these may have been some of his toys from traveling abroad since they measure in metrics and not inches...or he may have made a patent for them and they are a prototype (I do have other prototypes from his estate).
Each one measures 3 cm approximately, or a tad over 1 1/8", (smaller than regular pool balls) and they each weigh between 12 and 13 grams. Cherry red and olive green. When you hold them up to the sun or get them wet, you can see all kinds of darkish fiber in the bakelite or catalin.
