Outstanding sounding and beautifully preserved Belgian/French violin made and sold1869 by luthier Klein in Arlon. It is labeled as Klein and was recently confirmed by leading expert Rampal as being Klein's production. N.Duchene bow included if you hit "buy now "button.
There are possibility to get written certificate from  Rampal - it will cost additional 450 usd to final price.
In a very good shape for it's age ,no cracks at all, except  repair on head and bass side FF. Both are very old professionally made  repairs, stable and there is not need of attention as well as they does not impact sound or playability.
There are  signs of intense professional use, some small chips and dents on varnish here and there, but nothing really important for a violin of such age.
Fantastic, quite dark Romantic sound and excellent  power and very good projection.Many shades of tonal colours, good articulation and also very good legato.  Ready to play, length of back - circa 35.9,very easy to hold and play, easy responding, made for player .
Quite recent  setup and nearly new strings, pegs recently changed -  fully ready to play, no further investments by luthier needed.Serious offers are welcomed. We recently tested it in a big Symphony Hall and of course  it was able to fill that room easily. The sound itself is wonderful, very balanced and  with very good projection.
