    Description

    This auction is for a Fr. 1283SP Obverse Specimen (Narrow Margins) 25 Cents Second Issue Fractional Currency banknote graded Choice Unc 63 by PCGS Banknote. Noted on the holder is "CSA Watermark" and you can clearly see some of a "C" or "S" when held to the light. Just back from the grading service, this note is one of the nicest Fractional banknotes we have ever offered for sale. Marked "Minor Stains" on the holder. May have some tiny holes with some small pieces missing around the edges and corners, and perhaps areas of edge damage (although nothing about this is noted on the holder). Please see the photos to judge the condition of the note.
