    Description

    Cunard Line: A rare, deluxe launch brochure from 1947 for the CARONIA. Princess Elizabeth, soon-to-be queen, did the honors.
    The twelve-page brochure is printed on an elegant thick stock. Six large b&w photographs show the liner under construction and during the launch. An inset image shows the young princess waving as the CARONIA heads to the water. The center pages fold open to reveal a 31" wide artist's rendering of the liner at sea. Ant-like passengers and crew mill about the decks.
