the image on the vintage photo is a beautifully lined tattoo done in 1955.
done by the mysterious horigoro III who is being watched by horigoro II, who both tattooed in the tsukishima region of tokyo from the 1940s to as late as the early 1980s.
killer extremely rare image!  images on listing are screen shots.
11x14 professional copy archival print, excellent quality from a hi res scan directly (and color tone print matched) vintage 8x10 photo but unknown details.
each print was professionally printed, color matched to the original and produced on 60 weight, archival, semi gloss paper using only fade-resistant, archival, pigment-based inks.
