Description
The Rambouillet wool has been prized by its softness, quality and their origins. The history of this breed goes back to the 18th century when King Charles III of Spain gifts a flock of their prized Merino sheep to his cousin Louis XVI. The "Royal" flock was then raised and crossed with English longwools to improve their quantity and quality of their fleeces, giving birth to a breed of what we know these days as the French Rambouillet. The wool is soft to the touch (20-23 micron count), it has a natural ecru color (not a bright white) and a nice crimp. Great for spinning and felting.Rambouillet

All my fiber comes from a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
I store and send out my fibers with lavender sachets to keep pests away. Please let me know if you are allergic to lavender to avoid sending it to you.
I do my best to get pictures from different angles to capture and show the beauty of the color combinations. Remember that your monitor may show colors different than mine. I'm always open for questions.
