Franklin Mint 35 Silver Treasury of Presidential Commemorative Medals ASW 7.8 oz

This set from 1968 has the first thirty-five U.S. presidents -- George Washington through Lyndon B. Johnson -- in silver encased in a very nice book-form box made from wood; this comes in a slipcase and looks great on any bookshelf.
Each presidential medal
contains 7.5 grams of sterling silver
has the president's portrait and years he held office on the obverse; short bio on the reverse
measures 26mm in diameter and has a reeded edge
All together, the set contains 7.8 ounces of .999 pure silver. While these medals have always, as far as I know, been contained in the box, some are shinier than others and some have toning/tarnish while others have none. (The quarter shown in the fifth photo is shown for scale only and is not included in the lot.)
