    Description

Selling an unbelievably rare piece of music memorabilia. This is an original 1967, 1st pressing of Big Brother and the Holding company - Janis Joplins first studio album from her tragically short career. Even more rare is the fact that this album has been signed and inscribed by Janis Joplin herself. As I’m sure you are aware, she passed away in 1970 at the age of 27 so any authentic signatures from her are quite scarce, let alone a 1st pressing of her 1st album.
The album itself is in very good/excellent condition as shown (S/6099) and the original album sleeve is also in very good condition.
The album cover has some minor corner bends, scratches, minor discoloration. There is a name stamped on the back cover (see pics) but it is completely intact and in very good condition overall. The signature is very clear and bold with the inscription of " good luck - love" Janis Joplin, with heart drawings
Also included with the sale is 2 original COA’s from respected memorabilia authorities, as well as an original 1969 Woodstock, 3 day ticket. This incredible package from one of rock n roll’s earliest front-woman - a must have for any music lover or rock and roll collector. Please message me with any questions. Thanks
