First issue of the the Wonderful Wildlife of Papua Series, a tribute to one of the most particular New Guinea creatures, the spiny anteater with two black diamonds as eyes. Diamond certificate—brilliant cut surface covered in carbon for black color 1.00mm, 0.005 carat.
The coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Papua New Guinea. The Coat of Arms and the 2012 year-date appear on the back.
