Description:
A beautiful uncirculated banknote from the Republic Ireland. This banknote is graded by PCGS Currency as Gem New 65 PPQ and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. This is the Central Bank of Ireland one pound note issued in 17 September 1970. The banknote is green on pale gold underprint. It depicts the image of lady Hazel Lavery to the left of the front. The back is green on a white background and has the image of the river god in the center. The note has the signatures of T. K. Whitaker and C.H. Murray displayed on the front. The note displays the serial number, the denomination and the date on the front. This particular note has the serial number 93H343056 shown twice on the front in red. It has the date in red on the front as 17.9.70. The note has a watermark displaying the laureate head of a woman.
