    Description

    Cunard Line: A pair of deck plans for the SYLVANIA, the last of Cunard's four Canadian intermediate ships.
    The deluxe First Class plan opens to 44" wide with eight pages. Six decks are shown. The best part are the eye-popping color photos. There's the Sports Deck Lounge done up in pink and black, the Promenade Deck Lounge in pink and cream, the Cinema with regal red and gold trim, the beautiful veneered Smoking Room, the Restaurant decorated in somber tones, and the Drawing Room with an off-putting combination of red striped upholstery and seafoam green walls. A big, four-panel portrait dominates the opening pages.
    In contrast, the Tourist plan is all business. It opens to 38" with eight pages and shows six decks. Photos include the Smoking Room, Lounge, Cinema, a two-berth cabin, Restaurant, and a four-berth cabin. The plan finishes with a three-panel portrait of the SYLVANIA.
