    Description

    This is for a rare 1862 LEGAL TENDER PROOF used to detect counterfeit currency from Laban Heath.  As a proof example of a real currency that was being issued as a national currency, it is an example of the style, vignettes, lettering, borders, etc of what an actual piece should look like.
